David Pelizzon
President
David Pelizzon founded Squadron Capital in June 2008.
David is a retired US Army officer who served almost 30 years on active duty in airborne and special operations units. David is a graduate of the US Military Academy and has advanced degrees from Harvard University and the United States Naval War College.
Since his retirement from active duty in 2003, he has worked as a manufacturing executive in the US and Asia, including Managing Director of Precision Edge Holdings, Colson Associates in Chicago.
Harold Ruf
COO
Harald Ruf brings over 35 years of C-Suite level experience in a variety of industries including medical device OEM and medical device manufacturing. He currently serves as COO of Squadron Capital, LLC. During his career, he has co-founded a number of successful companies in three different industries.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and is a licensed CPA in Utah and California. Harald has also served as an officer and board member in local and national associations and has been recognized nationally for his distinguished service.
Doug Pascoe
CFO
Douglas Pascoe is the Chief Financial Officer of Squadron Capital. He joined Squadron Capital in November 2011. Doug has over 30 years of accounting and senior management experience in manufacturing. Doug has received his Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1981, his Certified Public Accountant Certificate in 1983 and a Masters in Business Administration with honors from Wayne State University in 1991.
Joel Schaider
General Counsel
Joel Schaider has served as General Counsel of Squadron Capital since January 2021. Prior to joining Squadron, Joel was a partner for 26 years at Reed Smith LLP. Joel has decades of experience in variety of corporate and finance transactions. Joel received a BS in Accountancy from Gies College of Business – University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign, a JD and LLM-Taxation from Chicago – Kent College of Law and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Aina Hoskins
Executive Officer
Aina Hoskins is the Executive Officer at Squadron Capital. She joined Squadron Capital in January 2013. Aina achieved her MBA in Finance from BI Norwegian Business School. She has since worked at DHL International Headquarters and PA Consulting Group in Norway. After moving to Connecticut in 2001, Aina worked for Ross Physical Therapy as Office Manager and as Executive Coordinator for Open Solutions and Oakleaf. Aina is also a member of the YMCA of Greater Hartford Board of Directors.
